Lou was born September 3, 1939, in Stratford, Oklahoma, to Enoch and Mattie (Cash) Smith.
She spent her formative years in the charming town of Pauls Valley, where she received a solid education that would help shape her future. In 1954, fate brought Lou together with Dean Webb, and their love blossomed into a lifelong partnership. Together, they created a warm and loving home in the Dibble area, where they shared a beautiful life until Dean’s passing in 2023.
Lou’s zest for life was evident in her many passions. She reveled in the joys of camping, boating and road trips, often captivated by the breathtaking scenery surrounding her. With a heart that adored the color purple and a fondness for butterflies, Lou’s spirit was as vibrant as her interests. Though Lou held a few positions outside the home, including time spent at the Dibble Head Start and Delta Faucet, her primary devotion was to her family. She took immense pride in raising her children and treasured the moments spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lou’s dedication to her family was a reflection of the deep love she carried in her heart.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Mattie Smith; her daughter, Connie Boswell; her daughter, Sheila Webb-Sabala; her grandson, Colby Smith; and her siblings, Marland Smith, Walt Smith, Rosie Ensey, Pat Burrows and Wanda Hall.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Webb and wife, Margo; her daughter, Jana Webb; her son, Brent Webb and fiancé, Helen; her daughter, Dena Rohr and husband, Shane; her daughter, Karlene Stephens and husband, Ore; her sister, Carol Aggas; her 15 grandchildren; her 24 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
