Purcell High School senior Hudson Andrews was honored in front of the school’s student body last Friday during their pep assembly.

Andrews was presented with the Bronze Sons of the American Revolution Good Citizenship certificate and medal.

The honor is awarded to a high school junior or senior based on overall scholarship and citizenship.

Purcell High School principal Jason Sanders and faculty from the school nominated Andrews for the award.

“Principal Sanders and the faculty there at Purcell High School gave a glowing testament to Hudson and our SAR officers all agreed with the nomination,” said Mark Allen Atterson, Sons of the American Revolution President – Norman Chapter.

The award is designed to recognize individuals whose community achievements are noteworthy.
