Coronation prior to Friday night game with Marietta

Washington will crown their 2024 Homecoming Queen and King prior to next Friday night’s 7 p.m. football encounter with the Marietta Indians.

The coronation ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. prior to the football game.

In the court this year are Aubri Clary, Scarlett Tontz,  Delia Snow, Olivia Palumbo, Jayden Taylor and Claire Cannon.

King candidates are Mason Singletary, Hudson Howard, Tanner Olson, Nate Roberts, Tatum Wilk, Carson Elliott and Kane Lampkin.

The flower girl and crown bearer are Millie Murray and Rocky Beller.

Clary is the sophomore daughter of Jay and Laci Clary. She plays basketball, is in FCA, a member of NHS and is an active member of FBC Washington.

She was on the girls basketball team that finished State Runner-up last year.

Tontz is the junior daughter of Greg and Laura Tontz. She is in Student Council, a member of NHS, FCA, FCCLA, competitive cheerleading and cheer coach.

She is a two-time Academic State Champion and a 4A Gameday cheerleading state champion.

Snow is the senior daughter of Gregory Snow. Her activities include track, NHS and FCA. She is a two-time regional track champion and a track state champion in 2024.

Palumbo is the senior daughter of Mario and Mandy Palumbo. Her activities include fast-pitch, slow-pitch, track, FCA and NHS. She is a two-time fast-pitch state champion, a state champion in slow-pitch and a state track champion.

Taylor is the senior daughter of Megan Price. She plays basketball and is in FCA. She is a Gameday state champion, a Gameday state runner-up, a Gameday and performance academic champion and was a state runner-up in basketball.

Cannon is the freshman daughter of Chelsie Huckleberry and Nicholas Cannon. She is in school cheer, competitive cheer and student council. She is a member of the Victory Family Church and is FCA. She was on a national champion for cheer in NJHS.

Singletary is the senior son of Chris and Tracie Singletary. He plays football, track, golf and fishes.

Howard is the senior son of Doug and Natalie Howard. He is in football, track, reading buddy with Mrs. Stewart’s kindergartners and a football coach for the sixth grade Warriors. He is in NHS and his hobbies include fishing and playing golf. Howard was named The Oklahoman All-City running back in 2023, played on the ‘22 and ‘23 football state champion teams and was the PC Athlete of the Year.

Olson is the senior son of Shawn Olson and Amber Burch. He plays football, is in powerlifting, golf, track, NHS, FCA, Spanish Club and the fishing club. He was on the back-to-back state football championship teams, won the 2023 powerlifting outstanding squat, was on the state runner-up powerlifting team finishing third individually.

Roberts is the senior son of Cristin and Brian Roberts. He plays football, baseball and is in FCA. He was a member of the 2022 and 2023 football and baseball state championship teams.

Wilk is the senior son of Tasha Wilk/Jonathan Wilk. He plays football, is in the National Honor Society and is in FCA. He is a two-time state football champion and a football state runner-up.

Elliott is the senior son of Lara Elliott, Casey Elliott and Melanie Elliott. He enjoys playing football, is involved in FCA, enjoys duck hunting and fishing in his free time. He was on the two-time state football championship teams.

Lampkin is the senior son of Amie Lampkin. He plays football and track and was on the two-time state football championship teams.

Beller is the Pre-K son of Brian and Jessee Beller. His grandparents are Rocky and Dawn Beller and Buddy and Linda Hankins. When he grows up he wants to be Spider-Man. His favorite food is chicken nuggets and zebra cakes. His favorite color is red. He plays soccer, is a member of Summit Kids at Summit Church in Norman and like spending time with his cousin crew, friends and family.

Murray is the Pre-K daughter of Clay and Brittani Murray. Her grandparents are Perry and Kelly Lyles and Ryan and Analisa Murray. When she grows up she wants to work at the Moxie Shop with her mom. Her favorite food is spaghetti. Her favorite color is rainbow and her activities are dance and tumbling.
