District games begin today (Thursday) at noon in Binger. Wayne will play in a double elimination style format with the Lady Bobcats.

In the last week, Wayne has played four games and they picked up one win, an 8-0 victory over Varnum last Tuesday.

They collected seven hits – two from senior Addison Keeler and one each from Taelyn Ringwald, Maddie Moreno, Alyssa Hobson, Audra Watts and Lily Whitaker.

Moreno was in the circle and fanned five batters. She allowed no runs on two hits and walked five.

Their other games were a 2-1 loss to Asher, a 12-4 loss to Konawa and a 5-2 loss to MacArthur on Monday.
