Last Friday night Wayne kicked off their basketball season hosting Springer. The Lady Bulldogs got a 54-32 win.

Seven girls were on the board led by senior Faith Brazell with 15. Freshman Taelyn Ringwald joined her in double figures with 13.

Wayne held a 33-12 lead at the half, spurned on by Brazell’s three treys in the second quarter.

Scoring was more even in the second half, 21-20 advantage Wayne, but the Lady Bulldogs had already built a significant cushion.

Junior Addison Keeler added eight points, Audra Watts had seven and Madi Sharp had six.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back on the court Tuesday, November 28 to host Elmore City.
