Funeral services for Walter Willoughby Sr., 85, of Purcell, formerly of Tulsa, were held Feb. 3, 2020 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home chapel. Interment was held Feb. 4, 2020 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
Mr. Willoughby died Jan. 28, 2020.
Walter Eugene Willoughby was born Oct. 11, 1934 in Chattanooga, Tenn., the second of nine children of Robert Franklin Willoughby and Rosa Bell (Crisp) Willoughby.
Survivors include his daughter, Karen Rotert of Tulsa; sons, Walter Eugene Willoughby Jr. and wife, Susan, of Denver, Colo., and Chris Willoughby and wife, Jeni, of Purcell; sister, Fran Brumlow of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brothers, Charles Willoughby and wife, Sherry, of Nashville, Tenn., and Jimmy Willoughby and wife, Glenda, of Chattanooga; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
