Nolan Foster Willis died unexpectedly April 17, 2024, in Purcell, at the age of 39 years 5 months 4 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Nolan was born November 13, 1984, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Chris and Brenda Willis. He was raised in Purcell and later pursued his academic endeavors at City College, where he achieved his A+ certification.

In matters of the heart, Nolan met Kymberlee in middle school and found his lifelong companion and the mother of his beloved children: Nate, Kynndra and Kyeerrah. Together, they built a foundation of love that stood the test of time.

Nolan’s dedication knew no bounds as he devoted many years at the Walmart DC center as a heavy equipment operator. Beyond his professional commitments, he found solace in his passions.  His interests extended into the realm of gaming, videography, music creation and all things technological. Known for his playful spirit as a natural prankster and an enthusiast of hunting as a gun aficionado, Nolan embraced life with zest.

An ardent follower of sports, particularly the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, Nolan’s love for the game knew no bounds.  Attending sporting events was among Nolan’s cherished pastimes—especially relishing in watching his son engage in ball games. Yet paramount to him was the treasured moments spent with his family; their bond was his greatest joy.

Nolan was preceded in death by his father, Chris Willis; his paternal grandparents, Rev. Ocie and Helene Willis; his maternal grandparents, Will and Kathrine Browning; and his grandmother-in-law, Pauline Dunn.

Survivors include his wife, Kymberlee Willis; his son, Nathan Willis; his daughters, Kynndra Willis and Kyeerrah Willis; his mother, Brenda Willis; his sisters, Kimberly Pinckney and husband, Jamel, and Skyler Glover; his three nieces; four nephews; his close aunts, Lena Martin and Ruby Austin; and numerous other aunts, uncles, family and friends.

In commemorating Nolan’s life, we celebrate a man whose dedication to his loved ones and diverse passions enriched all fortunate enough to know him.
