Virginia Joyce “Ginger” (Hackett) Womack died November 15, 2020 in Lexington, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years 6 months 17 days. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Ginger was born April 29, 1948 in Trousdale, Oklahoma, to Lonnie LeRoy and Flodie Marie (Peltier) Hackett. She was raised and attended school in Wanette.

On November 8, 1969, Ginger married Jerry Womack in Norman, Oklahoma. She raised a family and worked as a nurse for many years. Ginger enjoyed reading,  shopping, and  spending time with her family. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and other activities. Ginger attended and was a member of the Lighthouse Worship Center in Purcell.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Flodie and Lonnie Hackett and her sister, Joyce Matthews.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Womack of Lexington; daughters, Christie Goldston and husband, Joe, of Purcell, Gina Womack Porter of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Julie Kelly and husband, Jason, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; her grandchildren, Parker and Carter Goldston of Purcell, Jackson, Judson and Jensen Kelly of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Macy Porter of Antlers, Oklahoma; and numerous other relatives and friends.
