Sara Valenzuela de Viezcas died June 9, 2023, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 85 years 7 months 4 days. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Sara was born November 5, 1937, in Ojinaga, Mexico to Antonio and Cesaria (Salcido) Valenzuela.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Cesaria; her husband, Martin Viezcas; and her brother, Abel Valenzuela.
Survivors include her children, Enrique Viezcas and wife, Imelda, Chayo Corpus and husband, Raul, Martin Viezcas and wife, Isela, Francisco Viezcas and wife, Teresa, Irma Argot and husband, Humberto, and Mary Salas and husband, Pedro; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
