A Celebration of the Life of Randy Rolin, 59, of Purcell will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Purcell First Baptist  Church. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mr. Rolin parked his rig in Heaven on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Randell Wayne Rolin was born February 21, 1964 in Purcell, Okla., one of nine children born to Clarence Douglas Rolin and Ila Mae (Cypert) Rolin. The baby of the family, he graduated from Purcell High School with the Dragons Class of 1982.

Randy married his best friend and life partner, Jana Leigh Stapp on November 18, 1989 in Jefferson, Texas. Besides a couple of brief stops in Texas, Purcell was always home. Together, they raised two daughters, Emma and Gracie.

Randy first worked in the oil field for a few years, but his passion was driving a truck. He logged thousands of miles driving cross country throughout the years, and was currently driving for Dave Meeker Auto.

Randy’s greatest joy in life was his family and friends. He was an excellent host, amazing cook, and looked forward to get togethers. Randy cherished Jana and wore the title “girl dad” like a badge of honor. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his girls.

Randy’s smile could light up the room, and he genuinely loved people. He had a unique ability to strike up a conversation, and he made everyone feel welcome. He loved music of all kinds, spending time outdoors, and always stayed true to himself. He was a wonderful husband and father, brother, uncle and a one-of-a-kind friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ila Mae Rolin; infant sister, Rosie Rolin; brothers, Doug, Jim and Jerry Rolin and his mother-in-law, Carol Stapp.

Randy is survived by his wife, Jana Rolin of the home; his pride and joy, daughters, Emma Rolin and Gracie Rolin, both of Purcell; sisters, June Murray of Wayne, Wilma Fielder of Purcell and Alyce Julian and husband, Tony, of Purcell; his brother, Bill Rolin and wife, Lora, of Purcell; father-in-law, Lester Stapp of Purcell; sisters-in-law, Susie Peters and husband, Dean, of Purcell, Sherry Rolin of Purcell and Laverne Rolin of Purcell; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
