The Purcell Youth Football 9U Dragons have capped off an extraordinary season, achieving an undefeated record in regular season play, followed by two thrilling playoff victories.

The team went 8-0 in the regular season and continued their dominance through the playoffs, including a nail-biting 7-0 overtime win. The Dragons finished with a perfect 10-0 record, allowing only two touchdowns through all ten games.

The success of this season is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of the Dragons’ players and their families. Their efforts, both on and off the field, have been inspiring, as they’ve displayed sportsmanship, resilience, and growth throughout the season.

Purcell High School Head Football Coach Aaron Dillard and Athletic Director Rick Hammer played a pivotal role in this journey, providing invaluable guidance and support to the team.

The Purcell community is also very appreciative of the assistance from the Dragon Fire Booster Club, whose dedication and resources have made a lasting impact on these young athletes’ experiences.
