Pamela Kay Latimer died June 28, 2023, in Marquette, Michigan at the age of 66 years 10 months 25 days. Graveside services were held Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Pamela was born August 3, 1956, in National City, California, to Victor Yancy and Alice Viola (Brown) Maine. She grew up in places like Wallace, Idaho, Toppenish and Prosser, Washington, before graduating from Widefield High School in Security, Colorado. Pamela lived a few other places during her life, before settling in Gwinn, Michigan.

She married William “Bill” Derby in the late 1970s. After they separated, she married Rodney Reeves in 1994 and they were together until 1998 when Rodney passed away. In 1999, she married Jerry Latimer and they were together until Jerry passed in 2018.

Pamela worked some as a seamstress in her early life, then went on to being a CNA/CMA in long term care. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, watching hockey and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Alice Maine; her husband, Rodney Reeves; her husband, Jerry Latimer; and her brother, Mark Maine.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Derby and wife, Melissa; her daughter, Tiffany Derby; her brothers, Sam Maine, Terrell “Butch” Maine, Norman “Gene” Maine and Raymond Maine; her sisters, Carol Means and Melinda Cargill; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
