Lexington’s Bulldogs will try to get back in the win column when they travel to Lindsay Friday night for a 7 p.m. kickoff with the Leopards.
The Leopards, 4-1 on the season, operate out of the spread formation on offense and base their defense out of a 3-4 alignment.
Lexington, coming off a 62-0 loss at Marlow last Friday night, have been working this week trying to get all 11 players pulling on the same rope when they are on offense and defense.
“It was a tough night for the Bulldogs,” head coach Keith Bolles said of the loss to the Outlaws. “Marlow is a good team. “We’re working at all levels trying to get everything corrected and getting ready for Lindsay.”
Bolles said there were some bright spots in the loss.
“Chase Koster had a good game in all phases,” Bolles said. “He played well defensively and also ran the ball hard on offense.
Caydn Krueger had some good runs and played pretty good defense,” Bolles continued. “Cale Garver is getting better at linebacker and he had a good game at tight end, where he keeps improving every week. It’s always a plus to have a tight end. That always helps.”
Bulldog notes:
There were no nominations for Player of the Week.
