Despite the rain, Lexington softball was in Plainview on Friday. They dropped two games – a 6-4 loss to Davis and a 9-7 loss to Kingston.
On Monday they were at North Rock Creek for games with the Lady Cougars and Tecumseh.
Game one was a lopsided, 20-2 loss to North Rock Creek.
Lexington had four hits, one each from Marisa Northrup, Brodie Anderson, Kiely Givens and Marleigh Givens.
Anderson had their two ribbies.
In their second game, a 14-2 loss to Tecumseh, Lexington scored two runs on five hits.
Northrup, Anderson, Kiely Givens, Hannah Garrett and Cadyn Boatwright each had a hit.
Anderson and Garrett each had an RBI.
Anderson’s solo homerun in the third inning was a bright spot for the Lady ‘Dawgs.
Lexington (6-4) was scheduled to host Purcell and Blanchard on Tuesday.
