A gathering to celebrate the life and memory of Janet Atnip, 86, of Washington will be held at a later time. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Atnip died Oct. 2, 2023 in Oklahoma City.
Janet Faye Edwards was born Sept. 25, 1937 in Konawa, Okla., the daughter of Nathan Edwards and Mildred Edwards (Lowry).
Survivors include her daughter, Carla Gabriel of Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Susie Atnip of Moore; sister, Jean Edwards of Norman; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
