The McClain County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the successful completion of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s (OSBI) 21st Agents Academy by Detective Sergeant Justin Rowe.

The seven-week advanced training academy provided intensive instruction designed to enhance the investigative knowledge and skills of law enforcement personnel.

The curriculum covered a broad range of topics associated with complex criminal investigations and the responsibilities of professional investigators.

Among the areas addressed during the academy were advanced investigative techniques, major case investigations, interview and interrogation methods, crime scene and evidence processing, forensic investigative procedures, case development and preparation, courtroom testimony, and other specialized investigative disciplines.

The academy provides participating officers with an opportunity to expand their investigative capabilities while learning from experienced law enforcement and subject-matter professionals. The training is designed to enhance an investigator’s ability to properly develop cases, identify and preserve evidence, conduct effective interviews, and prepare thorough investigations for prosecution.

Detective Sergeant Rowe’s completion of the academy represents a continued commitment to professional development and excellence within the McClain County Sheriff’s Office.

“We are extremely proud of Sergeant Rowe and his commitment to becoming a better investigator and law enforcement professional,” said McClain County Captain Bryan Murrell.

“Investing in advanced training ultimately benefits the citizens we serve by ensuring our investigators have the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct thorough, professional investigations and pursue justice for victims.”

The McClain County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Detective Sergeant Rowe on this significant accomplishment and appreciates his continued dedication to serving the citizens of McClain County.
