Funeral services for Ronnie Little, 74, of Wayne will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
The family will receive friends and guests from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 16.
Mr. Little passed away on September 11, 2026 at his home.
Ronald Ray Little was born in Purcell on July 15, 1952 to Laurence Little and Velma Louise Little (Garrett).
He grew up in Wayne, attended school there, and graduated with the Bulldog class of 1970. He then studied agriculture at OSU for a time before joining the workforce.
For over 40 years Ronnie operated Thomas Seed Company and eventually owned the Feed N’ Seed in Washington, Okla. He enjoyed the relationships he built with customers and the community over the years. Ronnie was instrumental in the early years of the Washington Fire Department, where he dedicated over 22 years and served as Chief.
In his spare time, he loved to golf and spent many day trips playing courses throughout the state. He also loved his time on the water, bass fishing at Lake Arbuckle. Ronnie enjoyed tinkering with old tractors, gardening, working on ATVs, riding motorcycles, and serving as the family photographer. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Little; brother, Larry B Little, and his stepson, Brian Snyder.
He is survived by his mother, Velma Little of Purcell; his wife, Teresa Little of the home; his children, Tiffany Hyde and husband, Marty, of Washington, James Snyder and wife, Keri, of Moore, and Austin Greeley of Norman; his brothers, Randy Little and wife, Melony, of Wayne and Roland Little and wife, Janet, of Wayne. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kynsli Hyde, Kalli Hyde, Kassi Andrews and husband, Nick, Devin Snyder, Serena Snyder, Benicio Ortega and Christopher Snyder, and one great-grandson Alakai Hyde.
