Board of McClain County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, 11/10/2025 at 8:15 a.m. in Room 111 of the McClain County Courthouse. Chairman Wilson Lyles called the meeting to order and led the flag salute. County Clerk Rebekah Couch called the roll and those present were: Chairman Wilson Lyles, Vice Chairman Terry Daniel, and Member Glen Murray.

No action was taken concerning the minutes from 11/3/2025.

Terry Daniel moved to resolve to advertise for Six-Month Bids with bids to be received by 4:00 p.m. on December 5, 2025 and opened at 8:30 a.m. on December 8, 2025, Glen Murray seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.

Terry Daniel moved, Glen Murray seconded to approve option #4 to lease or assign interest to Alvarado for a consideration of $1,500 per net acre and 1/5th royalty for the Maverick 1-36-25 1HX well proposal in sections 1-T6N-R3W, 36-7N-3W, and 25-7N-3W. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.

Glen Murray moved to purchase a new 2025 John Deere 333 P-Tier Skid Steer for $96,655.80 from United Ag & Turf thru Sourcewell Contract #011723 for District One, Terry Daniel seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.

Allison Enright provided the Board of County Commissioners with an update on the CIRB Plan, which included projects for 240th, May Avenue, 170th, and Buffalo Creek. No action was taken.

Terry Daniel moved to approve the service agreement between McClain County on behalf of District One and District Three and Local Government Testing Consortium for 2026, Glen Murray seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.

Glen Murray moved to approve the Johnson Controls estimates for heating water pipe in the Courthouse for a cost of $11,575.62, Terry Daniel seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.

Public Comment:

Mr. Pete Ellet, representing the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, appeared before the Board and introduced himself as McClain County’s newly assigned Wildlife Damage Control Specialist.

With no further business Terry Daniel moved to adjourn at 8:51 a.m., Glen Murray seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Lyles, Daniel. Motion carried.
