Maxie Dee (Boles) Folks passed away May 18, 2026, in her home in Lexington, Okla., with her family by her side at the age of 90 years.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the White Chapel Memorial Garden Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Maxie was born October 20, 1935, in Madison, Kansas. She was the youngest of 3 born to Vernon and Geneva (Scott) Boles.
Maxie was married to Ron Folks for 57 years.
As the family moved around the United States with Ron’s military career, Maxie worked as a bookkeeper, event planner, waitress and sold for Mary Kay. They settled in Lexington, Oklahoma after Ron retired.
Between them, they had 11 children: Teresa, Bill, Timmy, Randy, MaShona, Michelle, Rene, Henry, Ron Jr., Cheri and Jeff. There are 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you either have a tree planted in honor of Maxie, or make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House.
