Former Purcell High School Student Brynley Jennings has filed a civil lawsuit against Timothy Arnold, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Norman and Purcell Public Schools.
The lawsuits stem from accusations against Arnold of sexual battery and clandestine manner with photographic/electronic equipment last year.
Arnold was working for the Norman orthopedic clinic as a trainer for Purcell athletes. The charges have not been adjudicated.
“The district is aware of the lawsuit recently filed. As this involves a matter of pending litigation, the district cannot provide further comment at this time,” Purcell Superintendent Dr. Sheli McAdoo said.
“We remain committed to our mission of serving our students and community with transparency and integrity within the bounds of the law,” she concluded.
