Hey kids!

On September 11, the McClain County Election Board held this year’s exciting election for kids to choose between Cali the Cat and Buddy the Golden Retriever.

Cali, who wasn’t exactly the PURRRFECT cat’s meow with 56 votes, lost to Buddy, who PAWSITIVELY RETRIEVED the most votes with 79.

Cali asked, “Who let the dogs out?”

There was one under vote and four over votes.

Election board officials appreciate everyone who participated. Officials had a doggone good time.

See you next year with new candidates.
