Washington School patrons will head to the polls Tuesday with a $7,150,000 bond issue on the ballot, aimed to preserve and enhance current facilities, ensuring they continue to serve students and families for generations to come.
“Washington Public Schools has long been a place where pride runs deep in our students, in our traditions and in the halls and fields that have supported countless Warriors,” Superintendent Chris Reynolds said.
“As the community grows, so too does our responsibility to maintain and improve facilities, while also preparing for future needs.
“This bond is not about building new, but about caring for what we already have,” Reynolds continued. “To keep our schools safe, functional and well equipped for 21st‑century learning. Best of all we project no tax increase over the 2021 bond.”
What the bond proposes:
“School bond elections are decided by those who show up. Every vote truly matters,” Reynolds confirmed.
He said supporting this bond means:
“If you are an eligible voter, please go to the polls on October 14 and cast your ballot. Let’s continue the legacy of excellence, safety and pride for Washington Public Schools,” Reynolds concluded.
