Wrong way nets injury

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports one person was taken to the hospital after a wrong way accident on Interstate 35 in Goldsby Thursday, November 18.

Investigating Trooper  Haught said a 2017 Ford Expedition driven by Seth Millington, 87, of Norman was traveling northbound on the southbound right hand shoulder for unknown reasons.

The Trooper said the Expedition entered the roadway perpendicular to traffic in front of a 2015 Kenworth, driven by Mohamed Abdi, 30, of Dublin, OH.

The Kenworth was unable to stop and struck the Expedition. Millington was transported to Norman Hospital Porter Campus with head injuries. He was listed in fair condition.

Abdi was not injured the Patrol reported.
