Queen candidates for Washington’s Friday night halftime coronation include seniors Alexis Gay, Haven Brewer and Halle Andrews.

Other members of the court include junior Journey Childress, sophomore Emersyn Massey and freshman Daphne Palumbo.

Senior king candidates include Cage Morris, Easton Berglan, Naithen Spaulding, Cooper Alexander, Cole Beller, Major Cantrell and Baylor Haynes.

Madeline Wilkerson will be the flower girl while Weston Van Paul will be the crown bearer.

Gay is the daughter of Toni and Brad Gay.

Her activities include softball, FCLA, NHS and yearbook. She is a two-time state champion and a two-time game day state runner-up.

Brewer is the daughter of Jace and Holli Brewer.

She has been active in cheer, NHS, FCA Stuco and yearbook.

Her awards include competition state champion and runner-up, state champion and runner-up two-time academic state champion and two-time softball state champion and runner-up.

Andrews is the daughter of James and Kimber Andrews.

She has been active in softball, cheer, yearbook, NHS, FCA and Stuco.

She is a two-time state champion in cheer, three-time state champion in softball, two-time cheer academic state champion and four-time runner-up.

Childress is the daughter of Karly Norman and Danny Childress.

She has been active in yearbook, the National Honor Society, FCCLA and FCA.

Massey is the daughter of Kimberly and Heath Massey.

She has been active in fast-pitch, slow-pitch, basketball, cross country, track, FCA, FFA, Gifted and Talented and the National Honor Society.

She was on a fast-pitch state champion team in 2022, a two time cheer academic state champion, cross country regional medalist and state qualifier, basketball state runner-up, slow-pitch state runner-up, track 200 meter regional champion and four event qualifier, third place in 200 meter at state, 1600 meter relay sixth place medalist, school record holder in 200 meters and 1600 meter relay, fast-pitch state semifinalist, first team All-District outfielder in 2023.

Palumbo is the daughter of Mandy and Mario Palumbo.

She plays softball, basketball and runs track.

She was a semifinalist on the softball team.

Morris is the son of Laramy and Casie Morris.

He has been active in football, basketball, baseball, NHS, FCCLA, FCA and yearbook.

He is a two time state champion in baseball, state champion in football and two-time state runner-up in football.

Berglan is the son of Mark and Rachel Berglan.

He has been active in football, baseball, STUCO, NHS, yearbook and FCA.

Berglan is a one-time football state champion and a two-time baseball state champion.

Spaulding is the son of Mike and Tami Spaulding.

He has been active in football, track and powerlifting and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Alexander is the son of Stephen and Mandie Alexander.

He has been active in football, FCA, NHS and track.

Alexander is a football state champion.

Beller is the son of Donnie and Connie Beller.

He has been active in football, basketball, track, FCA, yearbook and student council.

He is a two-time football state runner-up and a state champion in football and is in the National Honor Society.

Cantrell is the son of Kevin and Kelli Cantrell.

He has been active in football, FCA, track, coaching junior high football, Summit Youth and is Mrs. Mann’s kindergarten helper.

He is a member of the National Honor Society and was on the 2022 state champion football team.

Haynes is the son of Bryan and Stacey Haynes.

He is a member of the student council and has been active in football, throwing the shot put and discus, FCA, Spanish Club, NHS, little league football coach and cheerleading.

He went to Boys State, served as a Senate Page, was a state finalist in the discus and a state champion in football.

Wilkerson is the daughter of Chris and Jessica Wilkerson.

She has been active in cheerleading with senior Madeleine Green and T-ball with her fellow Lady Warriors.

She enjoys spending time with her friends at FBC Washington.

Van Paul is the son of Keith and Kelby Van Paul.

He plays flag football, basketball and T-ball for the Washington Warriors.
