Purcell’s first chance at Halloween candy treats will be Saturday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Purcell City Lake.

Treats on the Trail is this Saturday and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Elisabeth Baker reports there is a more than usual number of businesses and organizations set to hand out candy.

OEC Fiber is the main corporate sponsor for the event that features inflatables, food trucks, games and face painting.

The trick-or-treat event sponsored by the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce will be along the walking trail at the lake.

This will be the third year the Halloween of the Heart has been at the lake.

More than 40 businesses and organizations will be doling out the sweet treats for the event open to all area residents.

House-to-house trick-or-treating will be Tuesday October 31.
