Tony Allen

Tony Allen passed away July 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 68 years 7 months 16 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel in Purcell. Interment will follow at Whitebead Cemetery in Pauls Valley, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made at www.wadleysfuneralservice.com.

Tony was born November 19, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Oliver and Wanda Allen. He grew up in the Lexington/Slaughterville areas, attending school in Lexington.

Tony was a proud Marine and served a tour in Vietnam, as well as a member of the Choctaw Nation.

On September 12, 2005, Tony married the love of his life, Susie (Manning) Williams in Whitebead, Oklahoma.  During his life, Tony was a proud truck driver for CFI, hauling more than one million miles throughout the Untied States. He truly loved his truck driving career. Some of his other ventures include being a taxi driver, a sheriff’s deputy, a police officer, and for a short period of time, a repo man. Tony loved to hunt and fish, and lived for his westerns.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Wanda Allen; along with a loving mother-in-law, Mary Deen Manning. 

Survivors include his wife, Susie, of the home; brothers, Rick Allen and wife, Vickie, and Wayne Allen, all of Lexington; sisters, Lou Dunn of Lexington, Candy Morris of Warren City, Texas, Tammy Nyberg of Norman, Angel Taylor of Antlers, and Patty Jackson of Houston, Texas; nephew and niece, Kenneth Manning and wife, Brook, of Noble and Deena Manning of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law, Deen Manning and wife, Angie, of Pauls Valley; uncle, James Dallas and wife, Cathy, of Croder; a friend and special care-giver, Cindy Luckinbill of Wynnewood; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
