Memorial services for Sara Sue Martin, 77, of Newcastle were held Jan. 4, 2020 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Inurnment was at Newcastle Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martin died Dec. 31, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She was born Feb. 7, 1942, in Galva, Kan., the oldest of four children of Ralph Burdette Finkle and Eudora Rose (Weller) Finkle.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie D. Martin of the home in Newcastle; four children, Jimmie D. Martin II and wife, Kristin, of Yukon, Shelly Sue Fisher and husband, Carl, of West Port, Okla., Shannon Lea Russell and husband, Chris, of Yukon and John A. Martin of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Ralph B. Frinkle Jr. of Rock Port, Texas, and Roger Dale Finkle of Stillwater; one brother-in-law,Sammy Martin and wife, Judy, of Harrah; one sister-in-law, Billie Williams of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
