The Sunday night thunderstorm that produced a lot of thunder and lightning also had some much needed rain and there were reports of up to nickel-size hail.
The drizzle Sunday coupled with the thunderstorm overnight dumped .6” on Purcell bringing the yearly amount here to 36.07”.
That is compared to 34.95” that has been recorded in Oklahoma City. The normal year-to-date total is 34.12”.
