Two public hearings have been scheduled for changing the zoning of a parcel of land in the Purcell City Limits.
According to city officials, the land is south of W. Grant Street and West of I-35, north of W. Adams Street.
Currently the property is zoned A-1 (agricultural residential), R-2 (single-family residential), R-4 (multifamily residential), I-3 (heavy industrial district).
The request made by Brad Reid, LTS Engineering Services, LLC) is to rezone the property to PUD (planned unit development) for R-2 and R-4 based use.
The first public hearing will be at 6 p.m. Monday, January 31, at the Purcell Police Facility with the second hearing also at 6 p.m. February 7 at the same location just prior to the regular monthly meeting of the Purcell City Council.
