Lexington has hit a bit of skid, falling to Purcell last Tuesday (6-0) then Tupelo (6-1) and Sulphur (9-0) in the Roff tournament.
“We’re struggling to find an identity right now. To start the season teams couldn’t get us out. Right now, we’re getting ourselves out.
“Our struggles are things that can be resolved but it will take work and discipline to get through,” head coach Monty Ervin said.
During the tournament, Lexington managed two hits in two games. Brodie Anderson had a hit in the first inning in the Tupelo loss. Izzy Pack had a double in the third inning against Sulphur.
Monday’s game with Little Axe was canceled due to rain.
Tuesday Lexington was scheduled to be at Crooked Oak then they are hosting Ardmore on Thursday (today).
