Lenard Thomas Harrison (Tom), 76, of Purcell, Oklahoma, died on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Lexington Nursing Home after a hard fought battle with cancer.
His family includes his wife of 41 years, Jacalyn; son, Lawson of Fargo; stepdaughters, Angela (Jonathan) Finnegan of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Rachael (Brandon) Ramirez of Bellingham, Wash.; two sisters, Carolyn Harrison of Purcell and Anna (Elizabeth) Harrison of Scapeoose, Ore.; three grandchildren, Anders Ramirez, Zoe and Asher Finnegan.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lawson (Skinny) and Dorothy (Hines); sister,
Evelyn and brother-in-law, Robert Losher.
Tom was born on June 6, 1948, in Purcell, Oklahoma. He graduated from Purcell High School and Oklahoma State University. He enlisted in the Navy, served in Vietnam and retired as a Chief in the Medical Corp October 1998.
Model railroading, bowling and watching football were his hobbies. He was a member of the Oklahoma Railway museum with real trains including Thomas the train.
