Private memorial services for J.L. “Jake” McDaniel, 78, of Lawton will be held at a later date. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. McDaniel died Oct. 15, 2019 at Sunset Estates in Purcell.
He was born Aug. 9, 1941, one of five children and the only son of Everett Arlanda McDaniel and Ora Irene (Jay) McDaniel.
Survivors include two daughters, Debby Mahan of Lexington and Courtney Hicks of Elfmore, Kan.; four sons, J. L. McDaniel Jr. of Lawton, Tommy McDaniel of Kellyville, Ricky McDaniel of Oklahoma City and Mark McDaniel of McPherson, Kan.; sister, Rosie Tibbs of Lawton, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
