Isaac Dillon Foote passed away peacefully at home September 15, 2024, surrounded by his family at the age of 29 years 2 months 9 days. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Isaac was born July 6, 1995, in Lexington, Oklahoma to Randy and Elizabeth (Berger) Foote.
He grew up with a big heart and a big smile, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. A graduate of Lexington Schools, Isaac finished his education in 2013. His life was built on a foundation of love, faith, and kindness.
Isaac’s faith was incredibly important to him. He was an active member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, and on December 25, 2013, his brother Jacob had the honor of baptizing him. From that moment on, his faith became a guiding force in his life, shaping everything he did as he lived by his motto: “God, Family, Friends, then everything else.”
For many years, Isaac worked as a carpenter, putting his skills and creativity to use in a career he enjoyed. But more than anything, Isaac loved being with his family. He loved his mama deeply and took pride in being the protector of the family home. His love was authentic and larger than life, and he was absolutely hilarious, always ready with a joke or a funny story that brightened the day.
He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and husband. His nieces and nephews brought him so much joy, and he made sure to spend as much time with them as possible. He had a special bond with his sister, who shared his birthday—though they were six years apart—and they loved teasing each other in good fun.
On April 23, 2023, Isaac married the girl of his dreams, Hannah Young, and it was the best thing that ever happened to them. Together, they built a home filled with faith and love, where they thoroughly enjoyed hosting family and friends. Their marriage was full of happiness and joy, and they cherished every moment together.
Isaac is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leland and Helen Berger; his paternal grandparents, Carly and Ila Mae Foote; his nephew, Hunter Anderson; and his aunts and uncles, Charolette Stevenson, Nancy Zapian, Timothy Berger, Sharon Meier, Karen Nere and Ronnie Foote.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah Foote; his mother, Elizabeth Foote; his father and mother-in-law, Eric and Kristi Young; his father, Randy Foote; his brother, Jacob Foote and wife, Jai; his brother, Lucas Foote; his sister, Rachel Anderson and husband, Rusty; his sister, Jacquelyn Wilson and husband, Creston; his sister-in-law, Erika Stone and husband, Matt; his brother-in-law, Joseph Young; his brother-in-law, Ben Young and wife, Rachel; his sister-in-law, Sarah Young; his sister-in-law, Rachel Young; his nieces and nephews, Leah Foote, Timothy Foote, Beth Foote, Ashley Foote, Heather Foote, Amber Foote, Hazel Anderson, Paige Anderson, Sadie Mae Anderson, Maverick Wilson, Felicity Wilson, another Wilson on the way, Shanti Stone, Zayden Young and Jailyn Young; his aunts, Marilyn Fick, Carolyn Pfister and Ruth Belabbas; and many other family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Isaac will be greatly missed, but his love, laughter, and the memories he created will remain with us forever.
