Damp forecast

Precipitation is forecast through Friday with Saturday and Sunday drying out.

Rain last Friday and Saturday accounted for 1.5” in Purcell with 1.4” falling overnight Friday and another .1” on Saturday.

Parts of Midwest City recorded over seven inches of rain for those same two days. They have had 3.2” additional rain since.

Purcell received another 3.3” of rain Monday and Tuesday bringing the amount for June alone to 6.4” with more rain expected later Tuesday and into Wednesday.

In June of 2020 Purcell recorded .9” for the month.

The year-to-date for Purcell is 23.90”, 3.2” below this same time last year.

Will Rogers World Airport has recorded 18” so far this year. The normal year-to-date total is 18.43”.
