Carolyn Sue Winn passed away Christmas Day 2019 in San Jose, Calif.
Carolyn was born July 16 1941. She was the first of eight children born to Henry and Myrel Dumas.
She was raised and attended schools in Purcell Okla., graduating in 1959.
She wed Mark Wallace and they had four children; sons, Mark, Matt and John Michael, and daughter, Michelle.
Carolyn moved to California in 1968. There she earned a degree in nursing. She fell in love and married John Winn.
They made their home in Gilroy, California, until his death in 2004. From this union she has two bonus children, Don and Patty.
Carolyn had a variety of hobbies that she enjoyed over the years. She claimed that she made the best pecan pie, not many argued this.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry John Dumas; mother, Selma Myrel (Davis) Dumas; daughter, Teresa Michelle Henderson; grandson, Craig Lee Henderson; brother, Thomas Francis Dumas; and sisters, Jeanne Kay Mantooth and Mary Jane Popoff
Carolyn is survived by her sons, Kenneth Mark Wallace, Christopher Matthew Wallace and John Michael Wallace and his wife, Laura Wallace; grandchildren, Shelly Henderson-Barton, Raissa, Timothy, Gianna, Henry, Andre and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Dacota and Patton; siblings, Johnny Lee Dumas, Henry Dewayne Dumas, Margaret Ann Luttrell and Pamela May Yen and many nieces and nephews.
