Adopt all booms

The Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is continuing the Adopt-a-Boom campaign to add some oomph to the city’s fireworks display celebrating Independence Day.

Elisabeth Baker, executive director of the chamber, said Tuesday individuals and businesses should donate now for the fireworks extravaganza on July 2.

The public has four adoption options from which to choose. Those are:

• Big Bang. The cost is $250 and includes a 360-foot plume.
• Sonic Boom – $100 will buy a firework with a 270-foot plume.
• Bada Boom – a 180-foot plume will cost you $50.
• Baby Boom – each 90-foot plume only costs $20.
