Purcell police using a search warrant at a home at 323 S. Santa Fe recovered marijuana and a crystalline substance the tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.

Now an arrest warrant is outstanding for the man believed to have been selling the drugs.

Tommy A. Walls, 35, is charged in McClain County District Court with unlawful possession of a counterfeit controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to an affidavit, police served the search warrant on August 19.

A woman identified as Walls’ former girlfriend was in the house when police arrived.

She was cited when police found a glasses case containing a glass pipe and multiple empty marijuana containers in her purse.

In Walls’ bedroom, they recovered a used syringe, two spoons containing burnt residue and a small metal pipe with burnt residue.

They also recovered more than 542 grams of the crystalline substance.

The woman told police she had been approached by several people who said Walls was selling bad or fake drugs.
