Christopher Jay Whitestar died July 17, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 54 years 23 days. Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Glorieta Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Christopher was born June 25, 1970, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Amon and Annabelle (Wade) Whitestar.
The family spent many years in the Marlow area before moving to North Dakota where Christopher completed his schooling around 1988. He enjoyed fishing, bingo and watching the OU Sooners football.
Christopher loved spending time with his family at every opportunity, especially his grandchildren.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Amon Whitestar; his mother, Annabelle Stiger; his siblings, Raymond Whitestar, Theodore Whitestar, Greg Whitestar and Tama Martinez; and his niece, Lindsey Whitestar.
Survivors include his brother, Henry Whitestar and wife, Rexy; his daughters, Anna Whitestar and Adonshia Smith; his grandchildren, Monika, Mason, Mia, Amariss, Lalayna, Marcella, Penelope and Lillie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
