Rosedale Cemetery needs assistance

The Rosedale Community Cemetery needs your help.

To anyone connected to the Rosedale community, whether you have family or friends buried there or would just like to help with the maintenance of our beautiful cemetery, organizers need you now.

Rosedale residents are blessed to have a beautiful cemetery for the community of Rosedale but rely on the donations received to cover the costs of maintaining it. The money received goes 100 percent to the maintenance and upkeep of the property, most of which is mowing the grass.

With the grass beginning to grow, organizers will be forced to begin mowing soon in order to stay on top of it.

“We have someone who graciously mows and cleans the cemetery at a very reduced cost but it still gets very expensive.  In my experience these past few years of being the caretaker, I have found that the majority of the donations have come from elderly people, many of whom cannot give now and/or have passed away,” Brent Boles said.

“Donations have dropped substantially, so if you have loved ones buried there or any other connection to this cemetery we are asking you to please consider helping with a financial donation,” Boles concluded.
