Thanks to a $1,000 donation from the Shelter Insurance Foundation, the Lil Dragon food pantry got a shot in the arm.

Local Shelter Agent Abby Sizelove knew the Foundation had a $1.5 fund for Crisis Relief in communities Shelter serves and alerted the Foundation headquarters.

Pam and John Hobbs operate and stock the food pantry and were happy to receive the funding.

“Shelter agents and employees have a long history of supporting communities where we live and work,” Mrs. Sizelove said.

“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs and the Lil Dragon Food Pantry to assist their ongoing commitment of time and resources to help feed children in our community,” she continued.

Whether families elect to shelter in place or go back to activities, the community is grateful for the Lil Dragon Food Pantry and the work of Pam and John.
