The 2024 Lexington Winter Homecoming will be February 1 at 6 p.m.

Due to the coronation, the Bulldogs will play first at 6:30 followed by the girls.

Homecoming candidates include Zeke Faulkenberry, Natalie Dicksion, Adam Sample, Cilee Turner, Avin Morgan, Jordan Perry, Ty Mixon, Emilee Pierce, Drew Dierking, Marisa Northrup, Gage LaGace, Jordan Hardy, Regan Boatwright, Landri Bean, Skylar Rollins and Abby Sample.

The flower girls are Noelani Rollins and Lilyth Bertolozzi.

Faulkenberry and Natalie Dicksion are representing basketball. Faulkenberry is the son of Stephen Faulkenberry and Selina Lefors.

He has been All-District in baseball twice and was Grady County All-Tournament selection. He enjoys playing sports and hanging out with his friends. He plans to go to college to play sports and study to be a coach.

His favorite quote: “Control what you can control,” Kyle Wells.

Dicksion is the daughter of Eugene and Denise Dicksion.

She is president of the National Honor Society, a scholar athlete and a member of the National Technical Honor Society.

She is a four-year letterman for the basketball Lady Dawgs, a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the FCA. She plans to attend McPherson College on a basketball scholarship to major in pre-med. She wants to become a family physician.

Representing robotics, Sample is the son of Jay and Terri Sample. He has been on the principal’s honor roll, was State Runner-up in Special Olympics - softball, a member of First Baptist Church Choir, is in high school vocal, robotics and attended camps at Make Promises Happen. His future plans include making everyone’s day better with a smile and a hug. His favorite quote: “Being different isn’t a bad thing. It means you’re brave enough to be yourself.”

Representing wrestling, Turner is the daughter of Josh and Amy Hughes.

She is a State Runner-up in wrestling, a state placer, All-American wrestler, Regional Champion and ranked third for her district in The Oklahoman.

Turner likes helping younger wrestlers and teaching them about wrestling. Her future plans are to go to college and become a vet tech; have her own ranch and work with and train horses.

Morgan and Perry are representing vocal. Morgan is the son of Summer Morgan and Keith Morgan. He has been on the principal’s honor roll and participates in show choir and football.

He plans to work with his Dad, who is an architect. His favorite quote: “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift.”

Perry is the daughter of Ryan and Jennipher Perry. She has served as an FFA officer for three years, is a Stuco rep, show choir officer and has been on the superintendent’s and principal’s honor rolls all four years.

She participates in show choir, basketball manager, FFA and Stuco. Her future plans are to attend Randall University and major in education.

Mixon and Pierce are representing golf. Mixon is the son of Shane and Felecia Mixon. He is in the National Honor Society and in Gifted and Talented.

Mixon plays basketball and golf. He plans to attend college, play basketball and receive a business or teaching degree.

Pierce is the daughter of Misty Scott and J.D. Scott. She is in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, superintendent’s honor roll and an academic athlete.

Other activities she is involved in include nursing services advanced class at Mid-America, golf and FCA.

She plans to play golf at Oklahoma Baptist University, earn a bachelor’s degree and become a pediatric nurse.

Representing baseball, Dierking is the son of Matt and Amanda Dierking. He is in NHS, 2023 baseball MVP, 2021-22 basketball offensive Player of the Year. He lettered all four years in basketball and baseball.

He plans to play college baseball, earn a teaching degree and become a coach with his Dad.

His favorite quote: “Think before you speak.”

Northrup is representing slow-pitch softball. She is the daughter of JoAnna and Darren Northrup.

She is a member of the NHS and the National Technical Honor Society, is in the Top 10 percent of her class and lettered in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch all four years. She had a perfect fielding percentage her sophomore year.

In addition to softball she is in powerlifting and is a leader in the FCA.

She intends to attend OU and become a physical therapist.

LaGace is representing E-sports. He is the son of Ashley LaGace, Adam LaGace and Jacob Self.

He is in the National Society of High School Scholars and was first team defensive back for the 2023 All-District football team.

He participates in football, basketball, student council and E-sports.

He plans on going to college to become successful. Meet 21 Savage and make all of the green.

His favorite quote: “Whatever you’re doing, think 50 steps ahead,” 21 Savage.

Hardy is representing track. She is the daughter of Ed and Kari Hardy.

She has been on the principal’s honor roll three years in a row, lettered in basketball four years and two years in softball.

She is the Stuco president, plays basketball and enjoys hanging out with friends and family.

She plans to attend Rose State College for two years then transfer to OU. She aspires to apply to veterinarian school at OSU to become an equine veterinarian.

Boatwright and Bean are representing FFA.

Boatwright is the daughter of Donnie and Tracey Boatwright.

She has served as an FFA officer for three years including two consecutive years as vice president. She has served as an FCCLA officer for two years and is currently the chaplain and Stuco reporter. She has been in National Honor Society and is the current FCA Leader.

She plans to go to Murray State College for an associate animal science degree, work as a poultry scientist for a big broiler plan and possibly start a poultry science program at a college in Oklahoma and maybe become an associate pastor.

Her favorite quote: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,” Philippians 4:13.

Bean is the son of Jason and Marci Bean. She has been on the honor roll, president of FFA for two years, is a Star Greenhand Award winner and Star Discovery Degree.

She has lettered in basketball for four years been in FFA for five years, shows cattle, is in FCA and plays golf.

Her plans include going to Northeastern State University pursuing a degree in psychology and become a clinical psychologist.

Rollins and Sample are representing fishing.

Rollins is the son of Amber Rollins and Lisa and Travis Rollins.

He was All-District as a wide receiver in 2023 and was on the Heart of Oklahoma tournament team in 2023. He has been on the superintendent’s honor roll from seventh grade through 12.

He plans to go to college to earn a degree in business and further his career in baseball.

His favorite quote: “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing,” Walt Disney.

Sample is the daughter of Jay and Terri Sample.

A member of the National Honor Society, she placed sixth in the State Bass Fishing Tournament, was All-Conference in slow-pitch in 2022, was twice the athlete of the month and got the big bass award at Lake Texoma.

She intends to attend college on a basketball scholarship and then go to Vet school.

Her favorite quote: “Abby Kay is so slay,” Baylee Rillema.

Rollins is the daughter of Amber Rollins and granddaughter of Lisa and Travis Rollins.

She has competed in many pageants and has won several titles.

She enjoys watching her superhero Skyler and Batman (Cody) play football, basketball, baseball and cheering on all her Bulldog brothers and sisters.

When Noelani grows up she wants to be just like her mommy and help doctors and nurses bring new little ones into this world. She also wants to be an awesome mom one day.

Her favorite quote: “Superhero saved the world for me and my batman helps protect me.”

Bertolozzi is the daughter of Tony and Stacy Bertolozzi.

She is currently in first grade and enjoys gymnastics.

Her future plans are to be a mommy.
