Two people from Texas were treated for injuries after a two-vehicle traffic accident at the intersection of SH 74 and SH 59 last Wednesday afternoon.

Investigating OHP Trooper Byron Pletcher said a flatbed wrecker failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection, T-boning a southbound black four-door Mazda sedan just after 1 p.m.

Also assisting at the scene were the McClain County Sheriff’s Department, Purcell Firefighters and Wadley’s EMS.
