Get ready for a rocking good time when the Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival kicks off in downtown Purcell Saturday, September 28.

The first band starts at 11 a.m. and will feature hometown celebrity Parker Millsap along with local Oklahoma musical artists Red Grass String Band, The Bottom of the Barrel, Gary Gibson and Etowah Road.

Admission is free thanks to sponsors Purcell Tourism Committee, OEC Fiber, McClain Bank and UTS Supply.

The event will also feature food trucks and vendors.
