The annual McClain County Free Fair kicks off Thursday for a three day run that includes events the entire family can enjoy.
For rodeo fans there’s big news this year.
New to the fair’s activities this year is a rodeo both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8 p.m.
Baked goods and fresh flowers will be checked in Wednesday morning.
Among events on Thursday is a youth corn hole tournament, a youth dummy roping contest, a stick horse rodeo and a bean supper followed by an ice cream social.
Friday is school children’s day and among agenda items on Saturday is a dutch oven cooking contest.
The annual fair runs from September 5-7 at the McClain County Expo Center on Hardcastle Blvd.
