Funeral services for Dr. Willard M. Smith, 97, of Rock Island, Ill., were held March 25, 2023 at Weerts Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
Dr. Smith, 97, died March 15, 2023 at Genesis East Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughter, Joyce (Herman) Grubbs of Davenport; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Barbara Thomas and his sister-in-law, Eileen (Dale) Smith.
Memorials may be left to Palmer Chiropractic School Fund or Gideon’s Purse.
