A thunderstorm that moved through the area Tuesday night dumped 1.9” of rain in the Purcell area.
That hefty drink of water lifted the total for the year here to 7.5”.
The normal year-to-date total for this area is 5.09”. Oklahoma City has recorded 3.79” at Will Rogers World Airport.
Additional rain is in the forecast for Friday, Sunday and Monday.
