Moon gazers and Purcell High School alumni take note.
Saturday is the day.
It is the pre-registration deadline for next month’s “Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon” reunion and it’s also the date for a Lunar event at Purcell Lake.
The high school reunion is open to all years and will be June 11 and 12.
The cost is $25 per person if paid by Saturday’s deadline. After that the price goes to $30 per person.
Checks payable to the PHS Alumni Association may be mailed to P.O. Box 412, Purcell, OK, 73080.
Include the number and names of those attending with the check.
The moon gazing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in the parking lot of the Purcell Multi-Purpose Center, 1400 Chandler Road.
Participation is free. Those attending must wear masks and practice social distancing.
Co-sponsoring the educational program are the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, Ten Acre Observatory near Tribbey and Odyssey Astronomy Club.
