Yuletide cheer is synonymous with time off and that certainly applies to a Christmas break.
The Purcell Register will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, and Thursday, December 26, and will be open Friday, December 26.
There will be an early deadline of 10 a.m. on Monday, December 30, because of the New Year’s holiday. The paper will be available Tuesday, December 31.
Federal and McClain County offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, and January 1 for New Years.
There will be no mail delivery on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
City offices in Purcell will be closed Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
City workers in Washington will be off Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1.
Purcell, Goldsby, Lexington and Wayne town halls will be closed Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, and January 1 for New Years.
Students, staff and faculty at Purcell Public Schools, Lexington Public Schools and Washington Public Schools will resume classes Tuesday, January 7.
Wayne Public Schools and Mid-America Technology Center will be back in the classroom on Monday, January 6.
Both First United Bank and McClain Bank will close at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, and will also be closed on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
