Washington entered the State slow-pitch tournament for the 29th consecutive time on Tuesday, a streak that dates back to 1997.
They earned the tournament berth after knocking off Woodward and Chandler in the Regional tournament.
The Warriors went off on offense, scoring 55 runs in the two games.
Woodward
They beat Woodward 28-1 in the first game.
It was a scoring bonanza in the game with the Warriors collecting 24 hits, including nine home runs.
Daphne Palumbo, Julie Hoehner and Raelee Adkins each hit two out. Ava Salcedo, Emersyn Massey and Kelby Beller each had one.
Chandler
They followed that game up with a 27-0 win over Chandler.
Kinzlee Pogue went 4-4 with a pair of homers and five RBIs.
Hoehner and Adkins both homered twice as well.
In total Washington sent eight out of the yard in that game.
Eleven Warrior batters collected hits in the game.
Impressively, the Warriors did not have an error in either game on defense.
State
The State tournament began on Tuesday with the Warriors set to play Ft. Gibson at 3:30 p.m.
Washington is 26-5 this season.
