The Washington Warriors open the State playoffs Saturday evening against the Chisholm Longhorns at the Warrior Event Center.
The girls play at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys at 8 p.m.
The Longhorn girls are 8-15 and the boys are 6-16 this season.
Rocky Clarke’s Lady Warriors have dropped their last two games.
They fell to Davis by way of a 34-31 final last Thursday.
Mattie Richardson scored a team-high 11 points.
They traveled to Purcell Monday evening and were defeated by the Dragons 41-37.
Richardson again led the Warriors in scoring with 14.
Breanna Lindert was also in double figures with 11 points.
The Warriors are 12-9 this season.
Boys
TJ Scholz’s team scored a 57-49 win over Davis.
They fell to Purcell on Tuesday, 55-50.
Cash Andrews scored a team-high 16 points, followed by Hayden Hicks’ 13.
The Warriors outscored Purcell by 14 points in the second half but weren’t able to get over the hump.
Washington is 15-7 this season.
